Vanbrugh Group are a construction recruitment consultancy who specialise in the recruitment of management staff for the built environment.

We are currently recruiting a Supervisor / Assistant Site Manager for our client, a high end, specialist education provider with an in house development team. The business sources, purchases and develops exisiting buildings around the South London, Surrey and Berkshire regions. The development team are responisbile for managing each live project which normally involves the change of use through conversion and refurbishment work to full finish and hand over to the education team.

With a very healthy pipeline of new projects and a successful business model this is a rare and exciting opportunity for a Supervisor or Assistant Site Manager looking for a fresh challenge. With the support of a Project Manager you will be responsible for the day to day management of both direct trades and sub contractors to ensure the projects are on time, safe and that all works are being carried out as per the deisgns.

Responsibilities:

Day-to-day supervision of the project dealing with the site teams ensuring that all operatives are working efficiently and productively

Ensuring that subcontractor works are carried out in accordance to the design and schedule.

Ensuring works are completed on time and to a high quality standard

Ensure that paperwork and reports are fully completed and submitted in-line with the company procedure

Requirements:

Strong construction knowledge and/ or construction trade background

In order to be considered for this role you will need to hold a valid SMSTS or SSSTS certificate as well as First Aid

A Full Uk Driving License is also essential.
