We have an exciting opportunity for a HR and Payroll Team Leader to join our professional HR Team!
We're looking for those that can lead our HR shared service centre (HUB). Our HUB is our central point of contact for all One Manchester colleagues’ which includes maintaining and improving people systems and processes across the business.
This is a key role in our people team ensuring all central people services, processes and payroll are managed and delivered effectively across the whole colleague life cycle. You’ll have a keen eye for detail, and always look to find better ways of working so that we can deliver the best service possible to our internal customers.
What we’re looking for:

CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent)
*
Experience of managing and overseeing payroll
*
Experience of working in a shared services team
*
Experience of implementing system, processes and ways of working which support overall business performance
*
A ‘can do’ attitude which the confidence to challenge and improve the service we offer to the business
*
Experience of leading a HR Administrative function and line management experience
*
Outstanding communication and customer service skills, personable with the ability to build relationships across within the wider business
*
Able to build relationships with managers and coach them through key processes
*
Close attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality results consistently, accurately and on time
*
Experienced in the use of HR and e learning systems (Cascade an advantage)
*
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products, in particular Word and Excel
*
Strong MI, presentation and reporting skills
