If the work has been completed you can also expect some early finishes.

Reed Recruitment (Southampton Branch) have an exciting opportunity for a Gas Engineer to join our client's small team based in Basingstoke providing a comprehensive gas service to domestic properties as well as some new build properties. You will be working on a full-time permanent basis, working 9am to 5pm, you will receive a competitive salary of £36,000 per annum Plus Company Van & Fuel Provided !

This is one of those jobs whereby you can finish work each day, and not have to worry about being called out or to work at weekends. Plus there is not the usual large amounts of paperwork to be completed.

Our client is a smaller, intimate, yet very experienced plumbing contractor that has been trading for over 15 years. Our client offers professional gas installation, maintenance and servicing, throughout Basingstoke, Andover and Fleet areas.

What we are looking for in our ideal Gas Engineer:

Recognised formal training attaining the relevant craft qualification, NVQ Level 2/3
or equivalent
ACS Qualifications CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT
UNVENTED qualifications are desirable but not essential
Understanding of gas legislation
Full driving license
Understanding of Health and Safety and working to best practice
Ability to manage own time and workload and some flexibility
Experience of working with the public, demonstrating excellent customer service
