Support Worker Required in the Harrow area
To work as part of a care team supporting a gentleman to live independently within his own home and lead a full and varied lifestyle.
We are seeking staff with previous experience of working with clients with acquired brain injury who has excellent communication skills and is a team player.
As well as being able to support our client with his personal care needs, the successful candidate will also support his socialisation, therapy programme and leisure activities. You will be using moving and handling equipment such as a hoist and wheelchair so physical fitness is required.
Excellent support and training and supervision provided.
Driver not essential.
You will be required to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday on alternate weeks. There will be additional shifts offered to cover staff holidays and flexibility is essential. This is a permanent job.
Hours:
The hours of work are from 10am to 6.30pm
Rate of pay is dependent on experience:
£11.50 up to £14.00 per hour weekdays
£13.50 up to £16.00 per hour weekends
