Factory Manager – General Manufacturing – Crewe – £60,000 - £65,000 + benefits (dependent on experience)

OUR CLIENT

Is a leading manufacturing business with a large portfolio of products. Their Crewe facility requires a Factory Manager to take full operational control of the facility.

THE ROLE

The position will have full responsibility for the Manufacturing, Engineering and SHE parts of the operation amounting to approximately 15 personnel. This business is highly automated and therefore requires a disciplined approach to all “critical control points” on a daily basis. These areas are hygiene, preventative maintenance, recipe control etc – it is essential that all plans relating to these areas are adhered to stringently, any non-conformance can have a massive impact on the efficiency and quality of the manufacturing process and subsequent customer satisfaction. To have the maximum impact upon the business, engagement of the personnel and the building of a team ethos is highly important. A culture of “WE” rather than “I” is a key stepping stone to success to drive best practice and then drive performance towards world class.

THE PERSON

You will be an experienced manufacturing Operations professional who can learn new technically challenging manufacturing processes. The area of manufacturing your experience has been gained in would ideally be from an automated process involving PLC controlled equipment, for example Chemicals, Building products, Food etc
