I am working with a leading client that are seeking an Enterprise Architect for a permanent position, 100% Remote working.

Role Overview: The Lead Enterprise Architect for Customer Applications will take responsibility for the architecture governance of customer-facing applications and the underlying technology platform in alignment with the organization's digital strategy and goals. This role will determine architectural principles, standards, and reference architectures and work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple teams and departments to define the enterprise architecture of the digital platform, developing a digital IT roadmap reflecting the aim to standardize tools, services and products. The Lead Enterprise Architect will provide guidance to a team of architects, working toward a sustainable digital landscape supported by effective governance and control processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Defining the target state architecture of the organization's digital platform, navigating from disparate local systems to a common digital platform using a standard set of services and components

Leading the establishment of Enterprise Architecture (EA) governance in the digital domain, collaborating with teams within the EA office and working alongside programs and projects outside of the digital domain

Implementing a review and approval process to ensure that products, projects and procurement decisions comply with the EA strategy, roadmap, and technology standards and principles

Contributing to technology selections, solution architecture and cloud infrastructure Developing a long-term vision for the digital platform and its solutions, balancing this with short-term needs

Documenting and analysing the existing IT landscape, covering applications, integrations, information architecture, business capabilities, processes, and technologies

Evaluating and approving architectural designs that strengthen solution delivery to support new or redesigned value propositions and products

Guiding the organization toward optimal technology decisions by promoting reuse, sustainability, and scalability

Working to identify the correct balance between enterprise risk and agility, in alignment with the organization's global security practice

Previous experience working in agile digital delivery engagements

Proficiency and experience with cloud infrastructure, micro services, API management and domain-driven design (DDD).
