Engineering Supervisor - £55,000 - Covent Garden
Location: Covent Garden
Salary: £55,000 + Plenty of Overtime
Hours – Monday to Friday Days 8AM – 5PM

One of the well known companies in the FM and Maintenance industry is currently looking to recruit a key member of staff to add to a Prestigious Commercial Office located in Covent Garden. As a company, they provide specialist support in the operation, maintenance and repair of building services, and excel in the maintenance of technically demanding blue chip and critical buildings across the UK. The ideal candidate will have previously worked within a high profile commercial environment and will understand the demands required to maintain it to a desired level.

The ideal candidate is someone that is willing to take on a challenge, and has an excellent understanding of the industry and sector this is in. You'll be client and customer facing throughout the day, so someone that is confident meeting and greeting people face to face.

The ideal candidate will have previously worked within a high profile commercial environment requiring critical and non-critical maintenance. Candidates must have a strong technical understanding and must also be able to demonstrate a proven track record in the commercial building services environment. Employee Assistance ProgrammeDuties will include:

Close liaison and working relationship with the Client/Tenants
Ensure reactive maintenance is undertaken in accordance with the contract.
Manage minor improvements.
Attend client meetings.
Manage contractors.
Operate all systems within the buildings in a competent, effective, and efficient manner
Compile quotations to client
Issue relevant site Permits as part of the Safe System of Work
Completion of PPM and reactive tasks and update the system.
Ensure that daily tours are completed and repair or report any defects found via the Landlord/Tenant helpdesk
Identification of materials required to be ordered in a timely manner
Close liaison and working relationship with the Client/Tenants
Operate all systems within the buildings in a competent, effective, and efficient manner
Compile quotations to client
Have a detailed understanding on BMS systems
Issue relevant site Permits as part of the Safe System of Work
Completion of PPM and reactive tasks and update the system.
Ensure that daily tours are completed and repair or report any defects found via the Landlord/Tenant helpdesk
Identification of materials required to be ordered in a timely manner Requirements:

City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 Electrical installation or recognised equivalent
City & Guilds Level 2 and 3 Electrical Installations
17th or 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) Registration or Recognised equivalent or
Approved apprenticeship or appropriate experience within Building Services
Health & Safety Training
Previous Supervisory/Management experience is required
