Role Overview:
As a Fire & Security Service and Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and servicing a range of fire and security systems. Your expertise will help ensure the continued reliability and effectiveness of our systems, contributing to the safety and security of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform installation, service, and maintenance of fire alarm systems, security alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
* Conduct regular inspections and servicing of existing systems to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
* Diagnose and resolve faults in fire and security systems, including both physical and software-related issues.
* Provide technical support and advice to clients regarding their fire and security systems.
* Keep detailed records of work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs.
* Collaborate with the team to stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations and company procedures at all times.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in servicing and maintaining fire and security systems.
* Relevant qualifications in fire and security systems (e.g., FIA qualifications, relevant NVQs).
* Strong technical knowledge of fire alarms, security alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and rectify faults efficiently.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
* Full UK driving license.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
* Experience in a similar role within a reputable fire and security service company.
* Additional certifications or training related to fire and security systems
