Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience & qualifications)

Their client is a lift engineering company based in the Midlands. They will consider newly NVQ 3 qualified Lift Engineers or Trainee Lift Installation Engineers / Lift Improvers. It's important to point out that the core experience required is the roping of passenger lifts, this is essential. The NVQ 3 is not a requirement for this role, but it is desirable where possible.

Responsibilities of the Lift Engineer:

Identifying materials are correct for the task
Rigging up the lift correctly and replacing the ropes
Terminating ropes in their anchorages
Replacing chains, diverters and traction sheaves as required
Completing all training and work-related instructions in a timely manner
Isolating lift power supply and LOTO
Transporting materials and equipment safely from vehicle to job site
Supervision of the Roping Engineer's Assistant
Responsibility for the correct use and maintenance of PPERequirements of the Lift Engineer:

Driving License - Essential
NVQ 3 - Desirable
