Application Requirements:

• Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN, is desirable but not essential.

• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).

Key Responsibilities:

• Support children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 with special educational needs, particularly those exhibiting challenging behaviours.
• Work on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to help students engage with their learning and manage their emotions.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored educational plans for each child, adapting resources to meet their individual needs.
• Implement behaviour management strategies to help students stay focused and maintain a positive attitude in the classroom.
• Encourage children’s social and emotional development, promoting confidence and independence in both academic and social settings.
