Maintenance Handyman/Woman - £32,000 - Central London
We are currently sourcing an experienced handyman/woman to work for an industry leading building services company based on one of their commercial contracts in Central London.
Working within their small maintenance team, covering four tenanted floors, carrying out daily planned maintenance and reactive repairs to the building fabric.
The hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.00pm,
The Salary is £32,000 - £34,000
Aside from completing light fabric work, relamping etc, the role also comes with daily floor checks to be completed via an mobile app so the successful applicant will need to be tech savvy.
There will also be a lot of daily client interaction that really needs the successful applicant to be client facing, well spoken and professional at all times.
Typical Job Duties
Preventative planned maintenance and reactive maintenance of plant & equipment.
Basic maintenance on HVAC, electrical, general plumbing and hot and cold water supply.
The role will be responsible for minor repairs to the building fabric, furnishing, decorative finishes and fittings.
Job Requirements
Ideally the successful candidate will have previous experience working in a similar commercial environment in a similar job role and have had good experience with maintenance of HVAC, electrical and mechanical equipment.
The ideal candidate for the role must be well presented and have excellent communication skills.
