Key Responsibilities of the Assembler Operator

To assemble, test and inspect products in line with production requirements.

Duties of the Assembly Operator may include:

* assembly/manufacture of components, sub-assemblies, final assemblies of production and/or development products

* inspection and testing of products including operation of automatic test equipment

* responsibility for self-inspection thereby requiring high levels of accuracy and quality of work

* You will be trained in some of the following operations: welding, brazing, coil winding, encapsulation, soldering and machine operation

Qualifications/Experience of the Assembly Operator

No formal qualifications are necessary but applicants must possess basic numerical and literacy skills.

Must meet stringent Visual Acuity standards including colour blindness and depth perception.

Must have previous experience within a similar assembly environment and have proven mechanical or electrical skills.

Staff are responsible for self-inspection so a high level of accuracy and quality of work is essential.

This Assembly Operator role requires the ability to work to processes and procedures and meet the required performance targets.

Must be able to work in a team environment
