A national law firm with offices in Boston, MA is seeking a qualified and expereinced Foreign Filing Reporting Paralegal to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for filing patent applications, responding to Office Actions, Information Disclosure Statements, and other correspondence with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and preparing routine client reporting correspondence in connection with such filings, amongst additional tasks.
Requirements
Bachelors degree required
Paralegal certificate from an accrediate program required
Experience filing patent applications, responses to Office Actions, Information Disclosure Statements, and other correspondence with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and preparation of routine client reporting correspondence in connection with such filings.
Experience with the USPTO's electronic filing system (PAIR)
Experience handing patent annuity payments and coordinating payments by third-party vendors (such as CPI).
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
