Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Linux Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Linux systems management, cloud architecture, and public cloud migrations, with hands-on experience in various technologies and tools. You will play a crucial role in designing, deploying, and maintaining our infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

This role is based in our regional headquarters in Ridgefield Park, NJ. Team works on a hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage Linux environments (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu), ensuring system reliability, performance, and security

Architect, migrate and implement solutions in both public and private clouds

Utilize RHCS/Pacemaker clustering to ensure high availability and reliability of services

Administer Dell PowerEdge hardware and SAN solutions including Pure Storage, EMC Unity/VNX, Fibre Channel, and iSCSI

Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or Bash, and utilize Ansible for configuration management

Follow IT Service Management (ITSM) processes including CI management, Change management, and Incident management.

Utilize NVIDIA GPU and Nvidia-smi tools for performance monitoring and optimization

Requirements

8+ years of hands-on experience in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) management

3+ years of experience in architecting and migrating and managing in public/private cloud environments

Proficient in Python and/or Bash scripting

2+ years of experience with RHCS/Pacemaker clustering

2+ years of experience with Dell PowerEdge hardware

2+ years of experience with SAN technologies including Pure Storage, EMC Unity/VNX, Fibre Channel, and iSCSI

Proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management

Understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, NFS, and firewall

Strong organization, time management skills, and reporting skills

Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Business traveling up to ~10%

Work from the office on a hybrid schedule according to company policy

Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
