RN Hospice Administrator

Full Time, Monday - Friday

Wichita, KS and surrounding areas

Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000

The Administrator plays a pivotal role in guiding the overall operations of our hospice services. This individual is tasked with hiring qualified staff and overseeing the delivery of hospice care, including personnel evaluations. They are committed to maintaining a high standard of care that aligns with federal, state, and professional guidelines. Additionally, they ensure that all services reflect the agency’s mission, vision, and philosophy.

Responsibilities:

Day to day administration of our hospice program.

Organizing and directing the organizations operations to assure the availability and provision of care.

Implementing Governing body directives, policies and procedures.

Ensuring adequate staff education.

Performance evaluations.

Ensuring the accuracy of public information materials.

Conflict and complaint management and resolution.

Establishing and maintaining effective channels of communication.

Requirements

Active RN License Required.

Healthcare professional with at least 2 years of Hospice experience.

Knowledge of local, state and federal laws.

Business acumen and professional relationships specific to Phoenix's mission.

Ability to demonstrate self-confidence and a positive attitude.

Ability to evaluate personal strengths of self and others.

Ability to supervise objectively.

Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations.

Computer proficiency is required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
