Miller Truck Leasing - Provides full-service leasing, finance leasing, truck rental, and truck maintenance programs.  Miller Truck Leasing is the East Coast's largest privately-held truck leasing company. 

Miller Dedicated Services - Supports customers in outsourcing their transportation needs by providing vehicles, drivers, fuel, insurance, and overall industry expertise.    

Miller Brokerage Services - Provides on-demand capacity solutions through our network of reliable carriers.  

Miller Dealerships - Provides car and light truck solutions across the Ford, Lincoln, and Subaru brands.

Business Solutions Manager

The Business Solutions Manager (IT) plays a strategic role in problem-solving, driving process improvement, and delivering insightful analysis throughout all levels of the company.  This position will orchestrate the collaboration across multiple organization disciplines, identify on-going process/solution needs and centralize documentation of deliverables and status. Ability to understand business issues and present high-quality work with an attention to detail is required.  Reporting to Miller Transportation Group's IT Director, this position offers a unique opportunity to become a trusted advisor to the organization’s leadership team. 

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Business Process Design and Improvement:

Document business processes and requirements to design optimal future state solutions

Functional enhancements of systems for new product / service offerings in collaboration with sales, operations, finance, back-office and other groups

Testing of functional enhancements/upgrades in close collaboration with business units

Change management process delivery

Monitoring of operational compliance, performance and driving process improvement

Project Management:

Develop and manage project plans/documents for business solutions – communications with stakeholders and leadership

Manage go-live preparation and post-implementation phase

Drive escalation processes and risk management

Prepare & lead joint workshops with operations and implementation teams to drive understanding & results including discovery for requirements, design sign off and business benefit alignment

Be an expert in our business, systems and data, and use this expertise to inform decision-making.

Review and enhance operational processes by collaborating with co-workers and department leaders. 

You have:

A Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.

Experience with process improvement methods such as Six Sigma or Lean.

A proven track record of enhancing operational processes and solutions.

Experience in business solution design.

Advanced Excel skills. 

Working knowledge of Teams and/or other collaboration environments
