How You’ll Contribute:
Kaufman Rossin is seeking a Finance & Accounting Consultant to join our dynamic and growing Business Consulting Services (BCS) Department’s Business Integration and Transformation group. Our BCS Department works with business leaders to maximize value through integrated service offerings that combine corporate finance & strategy, transaction advisory, performance improvement, and performance management. We listen and then propose tailored solutions that fit our client’s immediate needs and long-term objectives. This practice group is made up of highly skilled accounting and finance professionals with a myriad of backgrounds. If you’re a finance or accounting professional seeking more dynamic and entrepreneurially focused engagements, we would love to talk to you!
Help manage, direct, and monitor client services on multiple engagements
Provide project management support to internal and external stakeholders
Assist in reviewing operational, financial, and technology processes to provide client management with an assessment of its business landscape and areas of opportunities
Assist with the development of financial and operational analyses and improvement efforts
Develop an understanding of the systems and business processes of key clients and add specific value and knowledge to the team
Perform investigative analysis on client financial data to identify potential issues and propose corrective processes
Maintain active communication with clients to manage their expectations, ensure client satisfaction, and make sure both firm and client deadlines are met
Identify cross-sell opportunities and subject matter areas to focus on in the future
Develop the opportunity to meet and interact with clients (on-site) and targets, creating awareness of the firm
Requirements
What Skills You'll Bring:
2-3 years of accounting, operational, and/or project management experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
Strong attention to detail
Familiarity with commonly used systems, such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, etc.
Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills
Proficiency with analyzing accounting data, such as general ledger detail, financial statements, and other operational and management reporting
Innovative mindset with a strong aptitude for learning and staying up to date on emerging technologies
Exceptional interpersonal skills
How You'll Stand Out:
Bilingual in Spanish
Aptitude for creatively solving problems and fixing things through critical and outside the box thinking
Experience analyzing and presenting process improvement opportunities effectively
Ability to set and meet project-specific deadlines and communicate to team and client management
