Inbox Health's Engineering organization is looking for our first SDET. We have a great team of talented developers building quality software, and now we're looking for someone who loves breaking instead of building. You'll be the first member of the QA team, and we'll look to you to assess our tech stack, provide data/experience-driven feedback on the overall QA strategy, and begin implementing our automated test suite.
Requirements
Work with internal and external teams to continuously test product features as they progress from development, to staging and production environments
Analyze and provide feedback on testability of code and software architecture
Update key aspects of code/design to increase testability where possible
Create automated end-to-end tests via Cypress and configure automated triggers to fire, run, report and notify engineers and stakeholders of regressions
Create automated unit tests and integration tests server-side via RSpec
Monitor, report and Improve code coverage and test pass percentage of existing tests
Interact with team members and clients via Slack, email, and phone support to explain core concepts and technical details of how the Inbox Health software product functions and integrates with user workflow
Create more robust end-to-end automated tests that interact directly with deployed websites
Job Requirements
5-7 years of experience in professional software testing and/or development
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred
Some familiarity with Ruby on Rails, RSpec, Ember.js and/or QUnit is highly sought after
Familiarity with the SDLC and general software development
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with an early-stage or start-up company is a plus
