Milk Education are recruiting for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Trafford (M27) to work on a long-term basis starting as soon as possible for a September start!. This is a school, who prides itself on providing a positive learning environment for all of their children.

This Level 2 Teaching Assistant job will involve supporting the class teacher with the day to day running of the classroom and will be based in a year 2 class. You will also be expected to work with groups of children and occasionally on a one to one basis as and when required. This Level 2 Teaching Assistant job is full-time and the working hours will be 08:30am- 15:30pm Monday to Friday, with a 30 minute lunch break.

Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Role & Responsibilities:

· Promote inclusion and acceptance of all children

· Support children consistently whilst responding to their individual needs

· Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as
appropriate

· Deliver catch-up sessions

Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Non-negotiables:

· Have either a relevant childcare qualification Level 2 or Level 3 or above

· Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, m
specifically those with SEND within the past two years

· Must have a passion for education

· Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills

· Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
