As a Lidl Warehouse Operative (Goods In Department), you'll make sure our stores receive the right stock when they need it. From picking products to helping out in team tasks like checking stock, you'll roll up your sleeves and get the job done. You'll work through your orders independently to help get our 2,000-plus products into the hands of happy customers, taking pride in the fact that without you, our shelves would be empty.
In return, we'll give you a competitive hourly pay rate based on equal opportunity and pay structures, with an additional £2.00 per hour for bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for nights, as well as a generous benefits package designed to support your well-being and life outside of Lidl.

What you'll do
Instructing drivers regarding use of intake lanes and sorting of pallets.
Quality testing and checking incoming stock (e.g. visual check, temperature measurement).
Accurate counting of cases on all incoming pallets from assigned area.
Recording all additional relevant item data into the handheld device (e.g. case size, best before date, pallet height).
Labelling each pallet with unique bar code labels.
Checking pallet build quality and supervising exchange of pallets.
Supporting colleagues in other areas (e.g. picking, moving stock etc).

Excellent attention to detail when working quickly
