Senior Support Workers Required in Kingstanding Birmingham B44
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people with emotional and behavioral disabilities ?
We are currently recruiting Senior Residential Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Kingstanding our 3 bed Children's Home supports 8-18yrs with BESD ( Ofsted Regulated)
Our home is well led where there will be huge support and you will be encouraged to develop and progress.
As Senior Support Worker you will
* Provide high-quality care and support to young people with EBD and complex needs.
* Work collaboratively within a team to ensure the well-being and development of the residents.
* Follow safeguarding procedures
* Lead and manage the shifts including YPs behaviours and staffing issues
* Manage the supervision of staff
* Carry out inductions for newcomers
* hours 37.5- 40 per week
Senior Support Worker Benefits:
* Competitive hourly rate: £12.50-£14 per hour (plus sleep-in payments).
* £30000-£35000 per annum inclusive of sleep ins
* Sleep-ins paid at £50.
* Free enhanced DBS checks.
* Ongoing career development with extensive in-house training.
* Comprehensive structured and supported induction.
* Opportunity to gain sector-specific qualifications.
Senior Support Worker Qualifications and Experience:
* Previous experience working with Children or Young People (Minimum of 2 year)
* At least 1 year leading and supervising staff
* NVQ level 3 in children’s and young people's workforce or equivalent
* Enhanced DBS.
