Job Description: Are you an experienced Class A CDL truck driver looking for a regional route with consistent home time? Join our team as a Southeast Regional Route Truck Driver. You’ll enjoy being on the road for 8 days, followed by a 34-hour reset at home, offering a perfect balance between work and personal life.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods within the Southeast region, including states such as Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
Follow all federal and state laws, regulations, and company policies.
Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to ensure timely deliveries.
Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELDs) for cargo, routes, and driving hours.
Deliver excellent customer service by ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight.
Efficiently manage time to meet delivery schedules and reduce downtime.
Requirements:
Valid Class A CDL.
At least 6 months of recent, verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
Clean driving record with no major violations in the past three years.
Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism.
Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance.
