Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced CNC Machinist/Quality inspector to work for a brand new client in Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Role: CNC Machinist/Quality inspector

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 - Dependant on Experience

Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Hours: 37hr week, Mon-Thurs 8.00am - 4.30pm Fri 8.00am-1.00pm

Key Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist/Quality inspector:

In-Process inspection (During Manufacture)
Use of Programmable and Manual CMM inspection
Upkeep, Maintenance and calibration of Metrology gauges and equipment to ISO 9001
Overseeing goods in/out inspection
Raising and investigating NCRs with implementation of corrective/preventive measures
Presentation of KPI statistics for monthly review
Maintenance of ISO 9001 accreditation as it relates to the Production and inspection. About you:

Ideally you will be an experienced CNC Machinist/programmer with an 'Inspection' background.
You will be able to demonstrate and pass on your skills and experience of quality inspection.
You will be fully familiar with and have experience of working within an ISO 9001 environment.
You will be able to work well in a team environment
Reporting to the Managing Director you will be supporting the production team striving for 100% quality.
Must have own transport due to rural location in Abingdon
