YO21 Area Whitby
Vision for Education is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced KS2 teacher to join our supply team in the Whitby area (YO21). This part-time role involves working 2-3 days per week, covering KS2 classes on a flexible basis starting from November 24. With reviews happening in January 25 to see if it becomes longer term or permanent.
Days will depend on the needs of the school which would be discussed at time of clearance
Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality teaching across Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6)
Following the school’s curriculum and ensuring continuity for pupils during periods of absence
Managing classroom behavior and ensuring a positive learning environment
Adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Providing feedback and assessment to ensure pupil progression
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within KS2
Strong classroom management skills
Flexibility and adaptability
A passion for teaching and inspiring young learners
An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
