Salary - £35,000 - £42,500

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of my client's state-of-the-art conveyor systems and mechanical handling machinery. This role involves taking projects from initial concept through to final production, requiring creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box. We pride ourselves on our bespoke machinery solutions, and you will be integral to this innovative process.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop conveyor systems and mechanical handling machinery.
Use AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCAD software design suites to create detailed engineering designs.
Collaborate with the Engineering Design Team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.
Install and maintain Autodesk software as required.
Utilize Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook, to manage project documentation and communication.Requirements and Skills:

Recognised mechanical engineering qualification such as ONC, HNC, HND, BTEC, or equivalent.
Proficiency in AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCAD design suites.
Experience with installing and maintaining Autodesk software is advantageous.
Competence in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work well both as part of a team and independently.
Full UK driving licence.
