NEWLY QUALIFIED HiAb Driver
Mon to Friday: 0700 hrs to 1600 hrs, plus Sat: 0700 hrs to 1200 hrs
Location: Watford
Class 1 personnel are working with a client to recruit HGV2 Hiab Driver. Our Client has established themselves as the market leading business in their sector and their success is based in giving the very best customer service and outstanding quality.
This vacancy is to join a dynamic friendly team driving HGV2 HiAb, delivery across Home Counties and North London areas This is an exciting new position that has opened due to the growth within the company.
DUTIES for the HGV2 HiAb
Delivering and collecting materials with the assistants of a crane.
Maintaining the vehicle to a high standard.
Achieving operational targets and contractual KPI's.
Providing accurate daily information to enable an effective handover.
Ensuring a safe and productive workplace where the Company’s legislative and commercial obligations are met.
Assisting the site staff with making up and loading of vehicles.
Essential criteria for HGV2 HiAb
Crane/Hiab Licence/Knowledge.
Full driver’s valid CPC and Tacho
Ability to work on your own initiative, working to strict deadlines.
You should process well developed organisational skills and be able to demonstrate commitment to deliver consistent quality.
Good communication both verbal and written.
Excellent customer service skillsYou will need to have the following valid HGV2 licence, valid Hiab D1 certificate CPC and Tacho card. Desirable to have FORS training ALLMI accreditation and HiAb D4 and D5
Working hours will be 44hrs covering Monday to Friday. We can offer a salary between £33k depending on experience + £2.4 bonus
