Job Overview
PRS are looking for a Fabric Technician to join our clients facilities management team based on a static site in Plymouth. Looking after the building and plantroom maintenance. This is a contract role starting on Monday 16th September for at least 2 weeks. The hours are 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
Fabric Technician Responsibilities
Responsible for PPM, Proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames
Responsible for other types of building services maintenance to include Fabric, Basic HVAC, Mechanical and electrical related tasks
Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship
Oversee electrical and lighting systems' general operation, repair, and maintenance. Perform new installations of equipment.
Check, repair, and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems. This includes valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.
Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.Fabric Technician Requirements
Experience in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering Desirable
Experience working on Maintenance within a commercial environment ideally within the facilities management sector
