Key Responsibilities:

-Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum, focusing on the specific needs of Year 2 -students.
-Creating a positive and stimulating learning atmosphere that fosters academic growth, emotional development, and social skills.
-Assessing and monitoring the progress of each child, providing constructive feedback to students and parents to support their development.
-Collaborating with colleagues to develop cohesive schemes of work and sharing best practices.
-Establishing strong relationships with parents/guardians to encourage active involvement in their child's education.
-Participating in school events, extracurricular activities, and staff meetings to contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements:

-Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
-Experience in teaching Year 2 or a similar age group is advantageous but not essential.
-A genuine passion for education and a commitment to nurturing the potential of every child.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
-A proactive and innovative approach to teaching, utilizing creative methods to inspire learning.
-Ability to maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment, ensuring the well-being of all students.

This is a full-time position, but we understand the importance of work-life balance. Four or three days a week would be considered for exceptional candidates.
