The Role of the Maintenance Engineer

Duties and Tasks for the Automation Engineer:

Perform routine and emergency maintenance on machinery, robotic systems, and conveyors.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs and automated systems.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain records of maintenance activities and manage spare parts inventory.
To design, program, simulate and test automated machinery and to have the capability to ensure the working of all equipment.The Automation Engineer

Electrical qualification or equivalent in electrical maintenance engineering.
Experience in the FMCG or Food and Beverage industry.
Proven experience in site maintenance.Benefits for the Automation Engineer

Basic up to £50k
Monday-Friday, day shift25 days holiday plus bank holidays
