Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Double Days - Monday to Friday (6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm)
Salary: £42,500
Location: Ashton-under-lyne (Greater Manchester)
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large manufacturer in the Greater Manchester area, as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. The role involves working 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm Monday to Friday.
The successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be working as part of a team, completing planned and reactive maintenance across the site, with a heavy focus on continuous improvement and project work. Other duties include working on boilers, water tanks, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors etc.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER:
The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer must be apprentice trained
Mechanically biased
Manufacturing background
Have experience working on hydraulics, pneumatics and have a thorough understanding of general maintenance activities and procedures
Awareness of and compliance with safe working practices
