ARM has partnered with a large Aerospace client who is looking for an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer who will be responsible for preparing, debugging, and executing complex test sequences on flight spacecraft.
Responsibilities:
Preparing and executing spacecraft system investigations in line with Non-Conformance Review Boards
Designing and performing electrical and functional tests on a variety of subsystems on test benches and spacecraft.
Writing and executing electrical integration procedures to electrically verify and connect the equipment during the build.
Development and debugging of Automatic Test procedures
Support Spacecraft systems functional and performance tests during environmental tests
Use Digital Design and Manufacturing Systems to prepare and execute work instructions
Closeout tests with Post Test Review and Test ReportExperience required:
A degree in an Electrical Engineering related discipline or relevant experience in a similar role
Experience of writing test sequences/scripts for execution of spacecraft tests
Experience in test sequence writing and debugging in a bespoke language (C and Java)
Competent in the use of various test equipment used for electrical measurements
Familiar with the Windows and Linux operating systems.
