About the role: Are you passionate about shaping young minds and creating a nurturing, exciting environment for children starting their school journey? We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join a vibrant and community-focused primary school in Colindale, London. As a Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting young learners during one of the most crucial stages of their education. You’ll plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that foster curiosity, social skills, and a love for learning. Working part-time, you’ll have a chance to be part of a welcoming and supportive team, helping to shape the future for our youngest students.

Application Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience in teaching Early Years, ideally in a Reception class.
• A passion for working with young children, with a commitment to creating an engaging learning environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• A proactive approach to contributing to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative, interactive lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that encourages social and emotional development.
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to support children's educational journeys.
• Monitor and assess children’s progress, adapting learning plans to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and teaching assistants to create a dynamic learning experience.
