Role: Civil Engineer
Location: Northamptonshire
Salary: Dependant on experience
Rise10 are working with a market leading Civil & Structural Engineering consultancy firm based in Northamptonshire, who are looking to appoint a Civil Engineer. Our client has strong company values and business ethics which play a significant role in their client retention and winning new business.
Our client covers a variety of projects within commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare and education sectors.
Duties:
* Undertake civil design on a variety of civil and structural engineering projects
* Design of below ground foul and surface water drainage systems
* Producing drawings in AutoCAD
* Liaising with local authority planning departments and lead local flood authorities
* Represent the company in clients’ meetings
* Write up detailed drainage strategies and verification reports
* Working collaboratively in a team
* Work to tight deadlines and manage your own workload
Skills and experience:
* Have a suitable civil engineering qualification
* Knowledge of 3D civil design software
* Be familiar with MicroDrainage and/or the InfoDrainage software packages
* Must have in-depth knowledge of SUDS and flood risks
Benefits:
