Maintenance Manager
Location: Stroud (must have valid UK licence)
Hours: 9am - 5pm | Fulltime | Permanent
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that the office is operating smoothly to achieve maximum efficiency.
* Liaise with external contractors for large scale works
* Ensure correct policies around physical security of all premises, right tools, and systems in place to comply with relevant standards and insurance requirements.
* Conduct and manager maintenance tasks
* Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations.
* Manage capacity needs to meet business requirements, coordination with contractors to ensure correct and timely works, and all aspects to ensure a smooth implementation..
* Day to day management of safety - implementing effective measures to control fire practises, first aid, building security, health and environmental risks on a day-to-day basis.
* Take overall responsibility for the safety, cleanliness and maintenance of all our internal and external environments.
* To ensure all staff (including outside contractors), buildings and services comply with health & safety legislation and to undertake ‘risk assessments’ relating to the Estates function.
Key Skills
* Hands on with practical abilities.
* Previous experience within a trade or a similar maintenance role.
* Strong organisational and management skills, able to prioritise and deliver in time pressured environments.
* Excellent partnering and collaborative working, as well as the ability work on own initiative and to drive improvement and change as necessary
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Confident, adaptable with a desire to problem solve.
