The Grove based Primary School has KS1/KS2 students needing more tailored approaches to learning, you'll be supporting them to progress in their literacy, phonics and numeracy.
Grove, Vale of White Horse
Start Date: ASP
Contract: Full-time
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Salary: £83.33 - £90 per day (depending on experience)
SEN Teaching Assistant responsibilities:
Assist students with special needs in the classroom - ASD/ADHD/Autism/Dyslexia.
Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies.
Provide one to one support to ensure student engagement.
Monitor and report student progress, with good safeguarding knowledge.
Foster positive social interactions among KS1/KS2 students.
Requirements for the Grove SEN Teaching Assistant:
Experience as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN/SEND) preferred.
Passion for working with special needs students (SEN).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Calm, patient, and empathetic in challenging situations, some of the Primary students have challenging backgrounds.
Willing to undergo relevant safeguarding and child-related training.
Flexibility and adaptability - everyday may be different with the SEN students.
