VHB is seeking a Land Development Project Manager to join our Land Development team based in Tampa or Sarasota, FL.
VHB is on the lookout for a talented Project Manager to become a key player within our Land Development Planning and Design team in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities
Work closely with a production team to develop site/civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of projects
Support preparation of various land development design and permitting documents
Responsible for project financial performance and client relations
Prepare and review drawings and specifications documenting the designs
Attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to establish their needs and discuss design/permitting issues with them
Supervise design team activities during Construction Administration
Manage work and development of junior-level staff
Manage small, medium, or large projects
Develop new project opportunities and manage proposal submissions
Skills and Abilities
Well-developed knowledge of civil engineering concepts and practices
Skilled with project and client relationship management and collaborative problem solving
Broad knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations
Skills to implement the integrated services approach
Knowledge of land development construction including codes and development regulations
Knowledge of construction materials and detailing. Detail drawings, sections, and material specifications
Excellent innovative design skills
Project research and analysis
Ability to adhere to office standards
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Self-motivated with leadership skills
Attention to detail and quality
Ability to think critically, but also having imagination
Ability to multitask
Excels working in a true team environment
Exhibits strong growth potential
Business development skills
Qualifications
5+ years of civil engineering experience on complex projects whether through coursework or professional experience
Proficient in site layout, grading, utility, and stormwater management design
Experience in developing and compiling/producing site plans, construction documents, specifications, and engineering reports
