Southern Veterinary Partners is seeking a highly talented Graphic Designer who will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of both our existing marketing assets and content created to support Recruitment and Business Development for our growing network of animal hospitals, as well as other strategic initiatives. From concept through execution, this teammate will improve our candidate and potential partner experience by bringing our brand to life and maintaining consistency across all our various touchpoints. We are looking for an ambitious, fun, creative, people-oriented designer who is truly willing to roll up their sleeves to solve business challenges in creative ways.
The successful candidate will be able to productively collaborate and take direction from multiple teams and convert their ideas into engaging and scalable creative assets that connect. You will develop innovative graphical solutions for all areas of our inbound and outbound marketing campaigns, including: websites, landing pages, ad and online listings, sales collateral, audience educational materials, email marketing, social media posts, and more. Your mission will be to create both appealing and engaging content that can be leveraged to support recruitment, BD and marketing for our 400+ individually branded hospital locations, our newly launched Livewell brand, and SVP brand.

Responsibilities / Qualifications:
SVP Brand Responsibilities:
Conceptualize and design multi-channel creative assets that are engaging and clean, with a consistent look and feel that adhere to brand guidelines
Ensure all corporate creative assets work to refine and enhance SVP’s brand identity and align with the company’s unique culture and capabilities
Ensure creative content differentiates SVP as the preferred partner for Veterinary practice owners who are considering selling or partnering with a veterinary consolidator
Scope and create templates for our marketing team to be more efficient in multiple channels
Manage design needs such as campaign collateral, presentations, signage, and trade show materials as needed
Bring fresh ideas for design and content creation to Southern Veterinary Partners using your expertise and eye for great design
SVP Hospital Responsibilities:
Work with Integrated Marketing to ensure you provide high quality content that engages clients, and is reflective of the quality medical care and customer service provided by our animal hospitals and pet care businesses
Develop graphic templates for web/email campaigns, landing pages, print (flyers, brochures), social media, etc., that support the portfolio content calendars and can be customized within digital systems to support individual hospital needs
When volume exceeds your capacity, outsource to and manage freelance resources to ensure content is delivered at a high standard and within committed deadlines
Experience:
Undergraduate degree (BFA) or equivalent work experience as an in-house designer or at a marketing agency
Solid knowledge of typography, layout and composition, color theory, and other graphic design fundamentals
Strong experience excelling creatively and professionally within a deadline-driven work environment
Work and experience in human or animal healthcare care is a plus
Skill Requirements:
Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite including required experience working in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator (After Effects/Premiere Pro/XD is a plus)
Knowledge of video post-production and optimization is a plus
UX knowledge around design principles is also a major plus
Ability to manage multiple projects at once on an assigned timeline
Superior attention to detail
Organized, flexible, and able to think and work beyond the brief
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of personalities in various disciplines
