Overview:

Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Location: Main Campus - 10514 Oberrender Rd. Needville, Texas 77461 United States 

Salary Range: $70,000-$75,000/year based on experience

Schedule: 8 hour shifts Monday-Friday

Join us at Fulshear as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at our residential treatment center in Needville, TX! We are looking for skilled therapists ready to create joy and heal generations!

Fulshear is focused on empowering women+ to take care of themselves, be a positive influence, and lead impactful lives. We use a variety of therapies, including cognitive-behavioral, equine-assisted, family, and individual therapy. With attachment and trauma-focused modalities, family systems work, life skills, and identity development, we help young adults live beyond trauma and attachment wounds. Our location serves women+ aged 18 to 28 in person at our beautiful 34-acre ranch near Houston, TX. 

Embark Behavioral Health stands as a beacon of hope and healing, with a network of family behavioral health treatment centers spanning 15 states We offer a full range of services, including residential programs, therapeutic boarding schools, outpatient care, and transitional living options. 

  

We utilize the CASA Developmental Framework to guide our treatment, promoting developmentally healing and strengthening mental and physical health through commitment, acceptance, security, and empathy. 

Responsibilities:

Embrace a collaborative team approach with weekly 1:1s, group supervision, and treatment team meetings.

Plan, implement, and adjust individualized treatment courses, ensuring client-centered care.

Conduct family, group, and 1:1 therapy sessions, driving therapeutic progress with evidence-based practices.

Maintain regular communication with families, providing parent coaching and support.

Maintain timely documentation, adhere to treatment standards, and oversee program completion and discharge plans.

Oversee program completion and discharge requirements, developing comprehensive discharge plans and reviewing them with students and their families.

Ensure compliance with state laws on documentation, reporting, confidentiality, and working with government agencies.

Qualifications:

What do you bring to this position?

The ideal candidate will possess a license in one of the following disciplines, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Strong verbal and written communication and professional documentation skills. 

A desire to facilitate client growth through a team approach, working with other care providers.

A passion for counseling young women+.

Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based practices.

A desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapy.

Preferred -Two years of working experience as a licensed therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions.

Preferred - One year of experience in a residential setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.

Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required.

Ability to pass a state background check.
