Responsibilities:

·        Oversee the daily operations of the payment process, including assisting staff, managing workflows, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments.

·        Investigate accounts payable issues as needed.

·        Manage the unapplied module to ensure that requests are accurately processed and approved in compliance with policy and procedure.

·        Analyze, resolve, and answer complex or difficult problems presented by vendors, clients, or management.

·        Manage the EFT module to ensure that invoices are paid.

·        Prepare analysis of accounts and produce monthly reports to provide critical data to the leadership team.

·        Communicate professionally with vendors and internal staff regarding billing and payment inquiries.

·        Plus, other work-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

3-5 Years Accounts Payable experience (preferably full-cycle) or accounting experience.

Degree preferred.

Bank Reconciliation Experience

Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software.

Knowledge of internal control systems and concepts.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.

Ability to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision.

Ability to use professional judgment and problem solving skills to make reasonable decisions and recommendations.

Ability to exhibit patience while working under stress and pressure.

Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter.

Ability to be a forward thinker and generate ideas and suggestions for process improvement.

Ability to critically analyze data and work processes.

Pay and Benefits:

$25.00 to $28.00 hour based on education and experience
