Dignity Health Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital is a 104-bed not-for-profit hospital located in Grass Valley California. The hospital has been providing compassionate quality health care to residents and visitors of western Nevada County since 1958. Responsibilities:

The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for coordinating clinical pharmacy services and ensuring that the pharmacy provides optimal clinical services on a daily basis. The clinical pharmacist facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems or programs that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, appropriate, cost-effective medication therapies

Qualifications:

Required:

At least 3 years current work experience as a hospital inpatient staff pharmacist demonstrating performance of clinical functions or, successful completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency program

Doctorate of Pharmacy degree (Pharm.D) or a Master’s degree in a clinical area of pharmacy

Registration/licensure with the California State Board of Pharmacy

Preferred:

Completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency

Board Certification in one of the Pharmaceutical Specialties (e.g. BCPS)
