Overview:

Barrios Technology has a need for an Executive Project Coordinator to join the corporate team located in Houston, TX.

The Executive Project Coordinator for our Corporate Team will be a key role integrated into the day-to-day operations of our company. This position will interface directly with our Executive Team, employees and customers, helping to proactively manage projects within our corporate office. We are looking for someone who thinks ahead of our team and is anticipating the needs before they arise.

Responsibilities:

The Executive Project Coordinator will:

Lead Corporate process improvements

Lead general corporate processes to include but not limited to (awards program, travel, management reviews, and training)

Lead employee, customer and community engagement activities

- Manage budget tied to events

- Determine best event opportunities

- Manage events from end to end

Perform marketing and communication activities as needed in support of our marketing and communications manager

Represent the Barrios values to internal and external personnel

Interface with all levels of the Barrios workforce

Perform administrative duties tied to corporate projects in human resources (HR), finance and general corporate tasks

Facilitate Executive Meetings and President calendar engagements

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

Associate degree or bachelor's from an accredited college or university

Minimum 10 years of experience in project planning with some experience in administrative support  

                                                                      - OR -

           Minimum 10 years of experience in administrative support with some experience in project planning

Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint

Proactive, strong communication skills (written and verbal), project execution with little to no direction

Preferences:

Experience with developing digital media

Experience managing project budgets of up to $30,000

Experience in document development, formatting (e.g., applying style sheets, margins, creating table of contents) to a specified standard

Essential Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Citizen, and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation

Work may involve sitting for extended periods.

May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lb.

Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary.

Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.

Physical ability to set up events to include moving tables/chairs, ability to lift and arrange table content (e.g., food, snacks, beverages)

Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.)

Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical.

Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.

Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.

Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.

Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.

This position may require some commuting and traveling to other installations as needed.
