Job Purpose:

The Product Manager, Pillows and Toppers, is responsible for managing FXI's portfolio of pillows and mattress toppers throughout the product lifecycle to meet strategic business goals. This role is pivotal in defining product strategy, ensuring product excellence, and achieving business objectives. You will develop go-to-market strategies for new products, optimize existing ones, and collaborate cross-functionally to align with the organization's shared vision. A key liaison with commercial sales, you will provide market intelligence, pricing expertise, product training, and customer presentation support. You will also lead cross-functional teams to execute commercialization plans, prioritize projects, and optimize speed to market.

Responsibilities:

Lead the product category for pillows and toppers across multiple brands and channels.

Collaborate with sales and business teams to develop long-term product strategies aligned with customer needs to drive profitable revenue growth.

Implement customer segmentation strategies to tailor products and marketing efforts to different consumer groups.

Develop and manage the product roadmap for pillows and toppers, collaborating with sourcing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, forecasting, mass production, promotion, and product end-of-life.

Lead the development and review of business cases for new products; make recommendations based on data-driven insights.

Gather customer feedback to incorporate into future product iterations, working closely with account and channel managers.

Utilize market insights to inform product strategy, collaborating with consumer insights and R&D teams.

Foster strong cross-functional collaboration between marketing, sales, manufacturing, and R&D teams to meet product objectives.

Act as the bridge between technical and non-technical teams, facilitating clear and effective communication.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

5-7 years’ experience in household durables, consumer goods, or related B2C industries with a broad experience in product development, marketing & sales with P&L responsibility 

3+ years of product management experience 

Proven success managing a product portfolio throughout its lifecycle, from development to market launch.

Strong understanding of the pillows and mattress toppers product categories, and the markets they serve.

Experience developing and executing product strategies, including positioning and value propositions.

Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful product outcomes.

Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills to monitor and improve product performance.

Desired Traits:

Strong ability to collaborate and influence across different departments and levels within the organization.

Excellent prioritization and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Highly organized with attention to detail, ensuring successful execution of product initiatives.
