Job Title: Senior Management Accountant
Location: Central London (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (dependent on relevant experience

Start date - ASAP (4 week notice period or less)
A dynamic and fast-growing Global Media company, based in the heart of Central London, is seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a background in Media or PR, who is ready to take ownership of financial operations and support senior management in driving business growth. The position offers a blend of strategic involvement and hands-on accounting tasks, making it perfect for a self-starter eager to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage overall financial operations for the London office, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and group policies.
Prepare and deliver full monthly management accounts, including P&L, cash flow, working capital, and revenue forecasts
Report variance analysis to budgets and forecasts and ensure all global recharges are reconciled monthly.
Produce monthly balance sheet reconciliations (prepayments, accruals, bank, VAT, debtors).
Lead the annual budget and quarterly reforecast processes.
Oversee multi-currency accounts and manage banking relationships.
Act as the main point of contact for the annual statutory audit with external auditors.
Maintain the company's fixed asset register and manage working capital to optimise cash flow.
Produce quarterly VAT returns and manage statutory filings (P11D, P60, PSA, corporation tax).
Ensure client contracts are in place, manage job numbers, and oversee sales and purchase invoicing.
Ensure timesheets are up to date and check client job reports for expenditure.
Skills and Experience Required:
Media or PR experience is highly desirable.
Advanced Excel skills are essential.
Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA or QBE.
Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and handle tasks at all levels from ledger to top-line strategy discussions with senior management.
Experience in a fast-paced, client-focused environment with tight deadlines.
Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
Ability to problem-solve and adapt quickly.
