Academic Appointments Ltd is currently working with a partner Wakefield school to recruit a dedicated science teacher. This is full-time science teacher position and will begin in January 2025 until the end of term, in the first instance, with a potential of a permanent offer for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be teaching all three sciences up to GCSE and will have responsibility for their own exam classes.

This is a ‘Good’ rated school, based in south Wakefield. Leadership is driving forward well-thought-out strategies to improve teaching and students’ achievement. Leaders and managers are passionate about being true to their motto, ‘No child left behind’.

Requirements:

* QTS or relevant teaching qualification

* Well qualified with an honours degree in relevant subject

* 2 x references from educational establishments

* Evidence of an exemplary track record

* A passion for success and quality teaching

* An Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service

Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
