Due to incredible business growth we are EXCLUSIVELY recruiting for a Production Administrator to join our hugely successful client in supporting their Production & Supply Chain Team to help deliver seamless production planning to their Production, Warehouse and Logistics Teams.
They have a hugely exciting future with plans to grow their business dramatically over the next 12 months which will have a fantastic impact on the development and internal promotion of their employees as well as additional recruitment.
This is a very busy and varied role, if you thrive working at speed where no one day is the same... this is the role for you!!
Your New Role
* Analyse component levels, follow up with supply chain and recommend corrective actions daily
* Analyse work centre load and advise Planning and Manufacturing management of staffing or other constraints
* Maintain daily production schedule to manufacturing and release production orders to warehousing
* Communicate with Customer Service, Warehousing, Manufacturing, QA and logistics daily, regarding identified concerns with material/component availability, constraints, customer demands, priority changes, and deviations that impact the attainment of the production schedule
* Ensure timely execution of all MRP transactions to facilitate proper product movement through the supply chain
* Maintain the medium-term production plan over and 8 - 12-week window
* Work with Production to re-sequence/reschedule goods that cannot be manufactured as originally planned
* Post completed production orders and problem solve where issues arise
* Attend the daily production meeting
* Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, especially MS Navision, advantageous
* Assist with scheduling production activity in synch with MPS
Your Skills, Knowledge and Experience
* A confident production administrator with excellent MRP skills
* Good level of numeracy and literacy
* Strong organisational skills
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to meet targets and remain calm under pressure with a busy work environment.
Contractual Benefits
- £25,000 + Ongoing Career Development
- Monday- Friday office hours
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
