Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Site Engineer on behalf of a reputable civil engineering sub-contractor who're delivering a civils & groundworks package on a new build school project near Halifax.

The initial contract is running until April 2025 with likely further extension for the right person due to strong regional workload. The scope of works includes: new drainage, car park & externals, road entrances, ducting, hard landscaping, footpaths etc.

Responsibilities include:

* Setting out & surveying - using relevant kit

* As-built surveys

* QA

* Amend 2d & 3d drawings & models as needed

* Updating site specific documentation

* Management of direct labour

Experience required:

* Candidates should have proven experience as Site Engineer on groundworks / general civil engineering projects

* Must be strong with setting out & QA

* Must hold: CSCS card and full driving license

* HNC / HND or Degree beneficial

Remuneration:

A rate of up to £320 per day (doe). Either paid CIS or LTD outside IR-35.
