Quality Inspector - Cheltenham

Permanent - Mon to Thurs 7.30 - 4.30, Friday 7.30 - 12.30

£28,000 - £34,000 dependent on experience

We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to ensure parts and components comply with customer specifications and AS9100 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Inspect components to meet customer and AS9100 requirements.

* Use and calibrate inspection tools (verniers, micrometers, callipers, CMM).

* Conduct hardness, conductivity, tensile, and painted part inspections (visual, thickness, adhesion, colour, gloss).

* Complete first-off inspections and maintain accurate documentation, including FAIR reports.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

* Knowledge of AS9100 and first-off inspection procedures.

* Detail-oriented with strong decision-making skills.

* Engineering qualification or equivalent experience.

General Responsibilities:

* Ensure compliance with Quality and Health & Safety procedures.

* Support team standards and collaborate with colleagues.

* Be flexible for training or divisional transfers if required.
