We are recruiting for a local Tewkesbury company who are looking to recruit an experienced finance administrator with excellent all round accounting experience to join their small friendly office team.

The role:

* Using Xero to maintain accounts for multiple companies

* Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers and bank reconciliations.

* Preparation and submission of VAT return

* Entering & processing data to correct ledger/nominal code

* General accounts functions – preparing records for year-end submission to accountant

* Assist in the production of financial reports and budgeting

* Processing and managing card and cash payments

Requirements:

* Previously experience working in an Accounts/Bookkeeper role.

* AAT qualified or the equivalent by experience

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Accuracy and attention to detail

This is a varied and interesting job and an important role within the business. As a valued Team member, you will be working in a small team keeping all accounts and finances updated for the 3 divisions within the organisation. It is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant looking for a new opportunity to work in a company that value their people.

There will be an option to do some hybrid working after training.

Full time (35hours per week) Monday to Friday; Salary c£30K
