TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a thriving community primary school based in Derby (DE21). The school is looking to take on a day to day supply teacher to support them within various year groups. The successful applicant will have knowledge of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum and experience working in primary schools and supporting a diverse group of pupils.
The successful applicant will need to meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development. They will support children in overcoming challenges and learning barriers and help them learn from their mistakes in a positive manner.
The successful Primary Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECT’s are also welcome)
Previous teaching experience with children
Excellent ICT skills
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Adaptable to pick up lesson plans on the day
Knowledge of the National Curriculum (KS1/KS2)
