Job Description: Are you a skilled Class A CDL truck driver seeking a stable regional route with consistent home time? Join our team as a Midwest Regional Route Truck Driver. You’ll be on the road for 8 days, followed by a 34-hour reset at home, providing a great balance between work and family life.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods within the Midwest region, including states such as Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
Comply with all federal and state laws, regulations, and company policies.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Effectively communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to ensure timely delivery of freight.
Maintain accurate logs and records of cargo, routes, and driving hours using electronic logging devices (ELDs).
Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring freight is delivered on time and in excellent condition.
Efficiently manage time to meet delivery schedules and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
Valid Class A CDL.
Minimum of 6 months of recent, verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
Clean driving record with no major violations in the past three years.
Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
